A better fit for your catalogue and brand
Your store. Not just your theme.
A Shopify theme is a starting point, not a complete explanation of your products. A fashion store may need better sizing guidance and variant presentation. A food brand may need ingredients, pack details and clearer delivery information. Useful customisation begins with those customer questions rather than adding effects to every section.
EHUB’s Delhi team can assess changes to an existing Shopify storefront, including page templates, reusable sections and mobile product discovery. This page focuses on theme-level improvements. For a new store, platform migration or wider integration project, use our Shopify development in Delhi guide to prepare the broader brief.
Review NOVU’s fashion website, Ruchi Gupta Studio and the website portfolio for visual and shopping-journey references. Confirm the theme and features needed in your proposal; these examples are not a promise that a particular design will increase sales.

Shopify Theme Customisation in Delhi
Start with a customer problem, not a theme replacement
Separate theme work from checkout and system integrations
Protect the live store while reviewing changes
Agree ongoing ownership and the next useful improvement
Start with a customer problem, not a theme replacement
Write down the pages where visitors struggle and the information they need. A product may need a better size guide, additional photography or clearer stock messages rather than a completely new design. Review the existing theme settings and available content first; some requirements may not need custom code.
Supply representative products with different variants, image proportions and information needs. A single ideal product rarely exposes every layout issue. Agree how reusable sections and product-specific information should be maintained so a visual improvement does not create a manual editing burden.
Separate theme work from checkout and system integrations
Theme development concerns the storefront, but not every requested change is controlled by the theme. Checkout capabilities, account features and app behaviour depend on the store’s current setup and the available platform features. Confirm feasibility before promising an interaction or including it in the design.
Inventory existing apps and custom code. A reviews widget, subscription tool or fulfilment connection may add its own scripts and settings. Check dependencies before removing it. Broader stock synchronisation or bespoke workflows belong in a separately assessed Shopify development scope.
Protect the live store while reviewing changes
Agree a working theme and preview process before development. Record the current theme version, custom changes and essential app connections. Have the merchant review complete journeys across a representative collection, product and cart rather than approving only a homepage screenshot.
Check sold-out variants, long product names, discount information and mobile navigation. Payment or order tests should use an agreed method and permissions so routine design review does not create unwanted charges or fulfilment work. Coordinate publication and retain the previous theme or another agreed rollback option.
Agree ongoing ownership and the next useful improvement
Ask a staff member to change a banner, update product details and use a new section before handover. Record theme licensing, custom code and app dependencies. Future theme updates may need a compatibility review where customisations are involved; ongoing maintenance is a separate responsibility to define.
Compare a focused theme improvement with a full redesign using the work actually needed. Share your store URL, current theme and desired changes through our project enquiry form. ● FAQs
Frequently asked.
Can you customise our existing Shopify theme?
+
EHUB can assess the theme, existing changes and app dependencies before agreeing a scope. Some requirements may be possible through existing settings, while others may need custom sections or template work. Share the theme and store URL first.
Do we need a new theme for a store redesign?
+
Not necessarily. Compare the existing theme capabilities with the actual layout and editing needs. Replacing a theme also requires a review of custom code, app connections and the content that must be rebuilt.
Can the team edit custom sections after handover?
+
Editable settings can be included in the section scope. Agree which images, text, products and layout choices staff need to control, then test a representative edit before approving the work.
Will theme customisation guarantee better conversion rates?
+
No. Clearer pages and journeys can address specific usability issues, but sales also depend on the offer, traffic, pricing, availability and delivery. Measure agreed outcomes without promising a fixed uplift.
What should we send for a Shopify theme quote?
+
Provide the store URL, current theme, important apps, representative products and a prioritised list of changes. Note launch constraints and who will approve the preview. Theme licences, apps and recurring support should be priced separately.
