NOVU’s published website introduces contemporary luxury menswear through a collection-led presentation. Public site assets identify Shopify as part of the current storefront. This project review focuses on the customer-facing fashion experience, not on an unverified account of app development or the store’s commercial performance.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
From first impression to the next step.
01
Let the collection establish the brand
The seasonal fashion presentation gives the visitor a point of view before asking them to explore individual garments. That is a different design problem from a general-purpose marketplace: imagery, collection language and product access need to reinforce the same identity. A strong visual opening still needs a clear route into the range.
02
Bring editorial presentation into the shopping journey
Fashion shoppers move between inspiration and practical evaluation. A useful storefront should preserve that transition as people browse collections and consider individual items. The portfolio captures provide desktop and mobile references for discussing this balance. Product availability, checkout rules and account features can change independently of the captured design.
03
Define the Shopify brief beyond a theme reference
For a similar fashion project, bring a representative catalogue, size and colour options, photography plans and the collection calendar. Identify which campaign sections staff must edit without code. Scope theme changes, migrations and integrations separately, and document recurring platform and app costs before development begins.
TURN THE REFERENCE INTO A BRIEF
